Managing OS Templates
Virtlix ships with 19+ supported OS templates across Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, CentOS Stream and Fedora. Templates download from the catalog on first use and are cached under /var/lib/virtlix/templates - every VPS after the first on a given OS boots from a copy-on-write overlay of that cached base, so it's effectively instant.
If you know in advance which OSes you'll be provisioning most, OS Templates → Download to node lets you pre-warm several at once with live per-file progress, so the first real customer VPS on each OS isn't the one waiting on the download.
